Effective date: February 20, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you visit or use psymed.info (the “Site”) and any related pages, tools, quizzes, and services (“Services”).
If you don’t agree to these Terms, don’t use the Site.
1) Who we are
PsyMed provides self-check quizzes and educational content about mental health, relationships, and gender topics.
We also may list or link to third-party providers (for example, clinics or professionals), where available.
2) Important safety note (not medical advice)
- PsyMed is not a hospital, clinic, or emergency service.
- Quizzes and content are for education and self-reflection only.
- Results are not a diagnosis and do not replace care from a licensed professional.
If you feel unsafe or think you may harm yourself or someone else:
- Call your local emergency number now
- Or contact a local crisis hotline in your country
3) Eligibility
You must be able to form a legal agreement in your country.
- If you are under the age required in your country, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission.
- If you use the Site for someone else, you confirm you have the right to do so.
4) Your account (if offered)
If you create an account:
- You must give accurate details
- You must keep your login safe
- You are responsible for activity on your account
We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
5) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break laws or violate others’ rights
- Harass, threaten, shame, or target others (including protected groups)
- Upload malware, scrape the Site, or attack the Site
- Try to access private systems or data
- Use the Site to collect personal data about others without consent
- Misrepresent yourself as a clinician or as PsyMed staff
If you run an agency or use automation:
- Keep request rates reasonable
- Don’t bypass rate limits or paywalls
- Don’t copy large parts of content
6) Quizzes and results
You understand:
- Quizzes can have false positives and false negatives
- Your mood and recent events can change results
- Results show patterns, not “truth”
Practical example:
- If a quiz suggests “high anxiety,” you still need context like sleep, caffeine, stress load, and medical factors.
7) Third-party links and providers
The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, or professionals.
- We don’t control them
- We don’t guarantee their quality, availability, pricing, or outcomes
- Your use of third-party services is between you and them
If we ever show provider listings:
- Listings are informational
- A listing is not an endorsement
8) Content ownership and license
PsyMed owns or licenses the Site content, including:
- Text, design, logos, quiz formats, scoring logic, and site code (except where noted)
You may:
- Read and share links to our pages
You may not:
- Copy, republish, sell, or create a competing quiz library using our content
- Remove copyright notices
- Use our brand in a way that confuses users
If you want to republish content, contact us for written permission.
9) User content (if you submit anything)
If you submit content (comments, forum posts, stories, feedback, images):
- You keep ownership of what you create
- You give PsyMed a worldwide license to host, display, and share it as part of the Services
- You confirm you have rights to post it
You must not post:
- Private info about someone else
- Hate content, threats, or harassment
- Sexual content involving minors
- Content that encourages self-harm
We can remove content at any time.
10) Privacy and cookies
Your use of the Site also follows our Privacy Policy.
- Cookies may be used for security, analytics, and performance
- Some third-party services (analytics, video, ads if used) may set their own cookies
Tip:
- If you handle mental health topics, your Privacy Policy should clearly explain what you store for quiz results and for analytics.
11) Paid features (if offered)
If we offer paid plans, downloads, or memberships:
- Prices, billing cycles, and features will be shown at checkout
- Taxes may apply based on your location
- You must keep your payment method up to date
Refunds:
- If refunds are offered, rules will be stated at checkout
- Digital access products often can’t be “returned” once delivered
- If you want a softer policy, you can offer a short refund window (example: 7 days) for unused subscriptions
If you don’t offer payments yet, keep this section but label it “If offered” so you don’t promise refunds you can’t give.
12) Changes to the Services
We can:
- Add, remove, or change features
- Update quiz scoring or results text
- Update content for accuracy and safety
We try to keep the Site available, but we don’t guarantee uptime.
13) Disclaimers
You use the Site at your own risk.
We provide the Site “as is” and “as available.”
We don’t guarantee:
- Those results will be accurate for you
- That the Site will be error-free
- That using the Site will improve health outcomes
This matters because quizzes can’t cover the full clinical picture.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum allowed by law:
- PsyMed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- PsyMed is not liable for loss of data, loss of profits, or personal decisions made based on quiz content
If liability can’t be fully excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Services in the last 12 months (or zero if you paid nothing).
15) Indemnity
If your actions cause legal claims (example: you post unlawful content), you agree to cover PsyMed’s reasonable costs, including legal fees.
16) Termination
We can suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Break these Terms
- Harm other users
- Attempt to disrupt the Site
- Create legal risk for PsyMed
You can stop using the Site anytime.
17) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country or region where PsyMed operates, unless local consumer laws require something else.
If you want this to be exact, set a jurisdiction (example: “Singapore” or “Philippines” or “New Zealand”) and a venue (courts/tribunals).
18) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms.
- We will update the “Effective date”
- Continued use means you accept the updated Terms
