What a psychology test can tell you

A good self-assessment does one useful thing: it gives shape to something you have been carrying without words. Each test on this page is a structured set of questions drawn from the frameworks clinicians and researchers actually use, so your answers line up against a recognised pattern rather than a hunch.

None of them is a diagnosis, and none of them can be. What they can do is tell you whether what you are experiencing is common, how strongly it shows up, and whether it is worth taking to a professional. Every test is free, needs no sign-up, and gives you a result immediately.

Most taken

The personality disorder tests people finished most in the last 30 days. Each one is free, private, and takes under ten minutes.

How it works

Take the test

Answer honestly rather than how you would like to come across. Most take two to six minutes, and nothing is stored or shared.

Read your result

You get a score, the band it falls in, and what that band actually means — written to inform you, not to alarm you.

Decide what next

Every result says plainly whether it is worth speaking to someone, and links the related tests that help you narrow things down.

Browse by topic

Every test on PsyMed sits under one topic. Pick the area you want to understand and see what is there.

A note on what these are. These are educational screening and reflection tools, not diagnostic instruments. A score cannot diagnose you, and a low score does not mean nothing is wrong. If something is affecting your daily life, a conversation with a doctor or mental health professional is worth more than any score on this page. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988 at any time.
